Emma Chapman

Emma Chapman is a British writer, currently living in North Yorkshire. She studied English Literature at Edinburgh University, and completed an MA in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway, where she was taught by Susanna Jones and Andrew Motion. Since leaving university, she has lived in London, Western Australia and Indonesia.  

Emma runs fiction masterclasses at Helmsley Arts Centre and is the co-founder of The Editors, a business offering academic and fiction editing services.

I still remember the tingly feeling of anticipation that I felt as I read the first page of the manuscript for Emma Chapman’s incredible debut novel, How To Be a Good Wife. It was there even from the first few lines...
