Tiger Fans: What our earliest readers thought of Liza Klaussmann's novel
My top tip would be Tigers in Red
Weather. It’s a Gatsby-esque debut and it’s absolutely beautifully
told. It’s the sort of book you want to read with a martini in hand. It’s a
really, really fantastic debut.
It’s so good, I'm going to buy a hardback copy for myself first. I've already been singing its praises on facebook so all my friends know which beach book to hang on for! Thanks again – it really is books like this that make my job the best in the world.
I absolutely loved this!! I've passed it along to all my fellow booksellers and am recommending it to pretty much all of my customers. Absolutely wonderful.
It's not often that I finish a book and want to immediately start re-reading it. Equating a novel to Scott Fitzgerald or Hemingway is usually a big call but the simplicity and beauty of the writing immediately brings them to mind. I loved the subtle character development of each character. It's a book to treasure.
It was such an engrossing book, I could feel the sun on my skin and taste the G&T's!! I'm definitely looking forward to reading more by Liza Klaussmann.
