Another Night Before Christmas
She reminds us that poetry is our greatest national art and can also be the most accessible

Hi David, It's great to know you like The Christmas Truce and also to hear about your great grandad - what a brave man, you must be very proud of him. Good luck with your own illustrations, and happy Christmas!

My name is David and I'm 12 years old My mum just brought this book for me and I couldn't be more pleased with it. my grandad was in the Christmas truce in the Scottish fusiliers and he was my great grandad William wood! Luckily he survived both wars but sadly I never got to see him. You have inspired me to write and illustrate my own Christmas truce book.
