Praise for The Godless Boys by Naomi Wood

A selection of reviews of The Godless Boys . . .

She writes quite beautifully, carrying one irresistibly through to a world in which Richard Dawkins has become a bovver boy and the Church is in charge of the country.
Naomi Wood is a rare talent with a special feel for the textures of experience - actual textures like fish scales and fabrics, but the textures of minds and moods too.  More than this she has a genius for finding exactly the right words to make her made-up people and places come alive in a reader's imagination. Reading The Godless Boys is an intense delight.
