Emma Donoghue at Norwich Library

Emma Donoghue, author of Room which won the Irish Novel of the Year award and was shortlisted for the Booker prize, will be speaking about her novel at the Millenium Library, Norwich.

'Emma Donoghue's writing is superb alchemy, changing innocence into horror and horror into tenderness. Room is a book to read in one sitting. When it's over you look up: the world looks the same but you are somehow different and that feeling lingers for days' Audrey Niffenegger

Just got back from Norwich after a wonderful evening with Emma Donoghue. She really brought the book to life and made it truly believable. She was very knowledgeable about the subject and the psychology of it all. Well worth the effort of getting there. THank you very much indeed.
